He loves working with some of Vancouvers most talented folks, distinguishing and articulating why they do what they do, and how to find balance and sustainability in the business.
In 2014 Sage and fellow actor Michael Karl Richards created True Bromance – an unedited podcast geared towards film life, dating, and career paths.
When Sage isn’t acting you will likely find him riding his bicycle… He’s a no hands rider who has had a fair amount of mishaps on his bike, and keeps on riding. Many moons ago he raced BMX bikes, and while he loves riding them, he no longer has one (damn you Vancouver bike thieves!!!). He also loves tennis, and talks about going to yoga often, yet rarely goes. There was that one time he did Bikrams yoga whilst hungover, and was so dehydrated they had to carry him off the floor and feed him emergenC with many glasses of water…
In the winter, he’ll most likely be snowboarding on a local mountain, or engaging in an epic snowball fight. He’s a vegetarian since birth, cooks often, and loves to regale guests with amazing stories over dinner. Favorite dishes include, Veggie Lasagna, Stir fry Veggies with coconut curry and rice noodles, and grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough bread with vine ripe tomatoes. He is known to have games of Celebrity in his home, with women verses men – It’s almost caused a few divorces (the men have always won). His Sangria is so good, it’s often called “Sage-gria”. He prefers talking to texting. His friends prefer to text, for he often talks too much. He truly loves cookies. He talks about getting in fantastic shape, yet he keeps eating cookies, and potato chips, and ice cream.
He believes in the spirit, not the letter, of the law.
Sage is currently residing in Toronto while attending the Canadian Film Centres Producers Lab.
